CAF U23 Cup of Nations

The CAF U-23 Cup of Nations is the Confederation of African Football's championship for national under-23 teams, first held in 2011 and staged every four years to align with the Olympic cycle. Eight teams reach the finals, joining the host automatically, and are drawn into two groups of four before the top sides advance to a final round that also serves as Olympic qualifying. Rather than crowning one dominant nation, the competition has spread its titles across several different champions since its founding, reflecting the depth of youth talent across the continent. For many of Africa's brightest emerging players, a place at the Summer Olympics has begun with a strong showing here. Follow live scores, fixtures, results, standings and statistics for the competition, updated in real time.
