COSAFA Cup

The COSAFA Cup is the annual football championship of the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations, first contested in 1997 and held almost every year since. It typically brings together the region's senior national teams for a short, group-and-knockout tournament, and has doubled over the years as a testing ground for young players and coaches from the region's smaller footballing nations. Zambia and Zimbabwe have been the tournament's most consistently successful sides, each collecting a large share of the available titles over the competition's history. For countries whose senior teams see limited international action outside major qualifying windows, COSAFA offers valuable, competitive minutes, and the tournament has built a reputation as a genuine launchpad for players who later move into the region's top leagues and beyond. Follow live scores, fixtures, results, standings and statistics for the competition, updated in real time.
