World Cup - Women - Qualification Concacaf

This competition covers the Concacaf region's championship for women's national teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean, one of the longer-running women's international tournaments outside Europe. It combines two purposes in one event: crowning a regional champion and distributing the region's qualification places for the FIFA Women's World Cup, with strong performers also earning routes toward Olympic football qualification. The format typically features a group stage followed by knockout rounds among the region's leading footballing nations. The United States, and to a lesser extent Canada, have been the standout nations across the competition's history, reflecting the wider gap in resources between the region's top two footballing countries and the rest of Concacaf. For smaller Caribbean and Central American federations, reaching the final tournament is itself a significant achievement.
