The Coupe de France is France's historic domestic cup, first played in 1917-18 and open to essentially the entire French football pyramid — thousands of amateur and professional clubs, including those from overseas territories, enter through regional qualifying rounds before top-division sides join around the last 64. Every tie is a single match, with extra time and penalties introduced over the decades to settle draws; the final has been held at the Stade de France since 1998, aside from a one-off 2024 exception. Paris Saint-Germain have won the competition more times than any other club, overtaking the long-standing joint record held by Marseille and Saint-Étienne, and its giant-killing tradition has produced memorable finals appearances by amateur sides such as Calais, US Quevilly and Les Herbiers. Follow live scores, fixtures, results, standings and statistics for the competition, updated in real time.
