Cup

The Azerbaijan Cup is the country's main knockout competition, run alongside the Premier League and open to clubs from across the domestic football pyramid. It follows the familiar single-elimination format seen throughout European football, giving smaller and regional clubs the chance to face top-flight opposition in one-off ties rather than across a full league season. Qarabağ, reflecting its broader dominance of Azerbaijani football in the modern era, ranks among the tournament's most successful sides, regularly reaching the closing stages alongside the country's other traditional powers. As with most national cups, lifting the trophy carries qualification into European competition, giving the winning club a further route onto the continental stage beyond whatever it achieves in the league that season. Follow live scores, fixtures, results, standings and statistics for the competition, updated in real time.
