UEFA U17 Championship - Qualification

This qualifying competition determines which nations advance to the final stage of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, Europe's annual title for the under-17 age group. It typically runs across two phases: a qualifying round of mini-tournaments hosted by different federations, followed by an elite round that narrows the field further, with the leading teams from each group earning a place in the eight-team finals. Because the championship is held every year rather than every two, this qualifying path gives the continent's youngest national teams an unusually frequent competitive outing. For many federations, especially smaller ones, these matches represent a rare chance to test their most promising 16- and 17-year-olds against the rest of Europe.
