Afrika millatlar chempionati

The African Nations Championship, known as CHAN, is a biennial tournament for men's national teams organised by the Confederation of African Football. Launched in 2009 as a companion event to the Africa Cup of Nations, it was created to promote the continent's domestic leagues at a time when so many top African players were moving abroad. What sets CHAN apart is its eligibility rule: only footballers registered with clubs in the domestic league of the country they represent can be selected, so players based in Europe, or even in another African league, are excluded entirely. The competition runs as a group stage followed by knockout rounds. By shutting the door on foreign-based stars, CHAN has turned into a genuine showcase for home-grown talent and a scouting ground for clubs looking for players who are still eligible to move.
